Report formats

Choosing a format

Use HTML, CSV, Markdown, or text for templates; use XLSX and PDF for built-in families.

Built-in families

Dictionary, columns, relationships, lint, and impact are available as binary reports.

XLSX sheets and columns

Each family writes one named worksheet with the documented stable columns.

Spreadsheet limits

Worksheets follow Excel row, column, name, and XML character limits.

PDF layout/wrapping

PDF reports use letter portrait pages, repeated headers, and deterministic wrapping.

Unicode fallback

Characters outside WinAnsi are rendered as question marks in PDF.

Determinism

ZIP entries, XML, and PDF object order are deterministic.
